Book Review 2-11 "Jack and the Beanstalk"

This is a story known by many people. I read this story when I was a child, and I like it. Do you know this story? It is a fish story. The title is “Jack and the Beanstalk.” Jack was poor and he didn’t have enough food, clothes. He lived with his mother and an old cow.

One day, his mother said to him to sell the caw to live, and Jack was going to sell the caw. On the half way, Jack met an old man and the old man said to him let’s exchange. The old man took out five dried beans from his pocket, and he added these beans were magic beans. Jack decided to exchange.

Jacked mother got angry because her need money not beans. She threw the beans to the ground. Jack felt foolish, and finally he fell asleep. Next day, he couldn’t believe his eyes because there was a massive plant. It was reaching the sky. Jack began to climb.

He was under go many things above the clouds. Finally, he found a giant. He had a hen which laid golden eggs. Jack stole the hen and he backed his house under clouds. Jack became rich because of the hen, but he thought there was more treasure above the clouds. He started climbing the plant again. Jack found a golden harp and tried to escape from the giant, but the giant chased Jack.

Under the clouds, Jack’s mother grabbed the saw and when Jack arrived to the ground, he pulled it and the plant fell down. And, no one ever saw the giant! After that Jack and his mother lived happily.

Book Review 2-10 "The Elves and the Shoemaker"

This is a fairy tale. I like this story. There was an old man and his job was making shoe. He made good shoes and everyone likes watching his job. He wasn’t rich, but he lived with his wife to enjoy his job.

One day, a man came to the city, and he started selling shoes and his shoes were very cheap. Everyone delighted the price. They could buy 2 pair of shoes for the price of one. The old man thought these shoes were awful, these shoes had bad leather, but other people didn’t realize that thing.

The shoemaker to sell cheap shoes always sold much shoes. The old man couldn’t understand why he could make these much shoes quickly. The old man had very little business due to the coming shoemaker. He couldn’t make enough shoes, so he bought leather to make a pair of shoes and he went to bed.

The next day, the old man surprised because there was a perfect pair of shoes. He couldn’t believe! In fact, it was elves work. The selling cheap shoes man has 14 elves and he let them to make much shoes. These elves wearing miserable clothes and they don’t wear shoes. The old man noticed these elves and he made clothes for elves.

The cheap shoes seller became have to leave the city because many people who bought his shoes were getting angry. His shoes broke after two days, so he decided to quite this job and elves relieve from him. It was good for 14 elves and the old man lived happily to make shoes by himself.

Book Review 2-9 "How Elephants lost their Wings "

This is a story about elephant’s history. A long time ago, elephants could fly and they were so noisy. They had wings and enjoyed flying the sky. However, you know elephants are so big, so when they fly into trees, they smashed them. And they landed on houses, so the gods thought they had to solve the problem. The gods gave much food for elephants and when elephants were sleeping, the gods took away their wings! Instead of their wings, the gods gave elephants peacocks and banana trees.

It is interesting story, don’t you think so? If elephants can fly, it must be cause troubles!!! However, I like Danbo. Do you know? He is an elephant. It was created by Disney. Danbo has big ear, so he can fly to use his big ear. Danbo looks cute, so I want to see a flying elephant once time and I want to ride on his back!

I went to Mitsui Green Land with my friends. I waked up at 8:00 a.m. and my friends came to my house and picked me up. We didn’t decide where to go, but we left my house. First, we thought to go Fukuoka, so we pulled onto the freeway, but suddenly, one of my friends said Fukuoka is bit far, so we down the freeway soon and we decided to go Mitsui Green Land because it was near at there.

That day was so cold, but there was many people, children and their families, and couples. We went there 3 girls and 1 boy, so the boy told we must be seems strange. Surprisingly, he had only 2000 yen! Always he has lots money but that day, he thought we will go to Aso, so he didn’t have much money. It was interesting for us.

I don’t like a haunted house, but my friends wanted to go there. One of my friends, Misa doesn’t like it, too. She was scared rather than me. I said to her let’s go there, and we entered……

It was scared! I clung to its Misa’s arm and she was laughing. However, she was afraid it, too.

After that, we rode a very interesting machine, but I don’t remember that machine’s name, but it was good. We rode the machine and we down on the water. It was interesting. Only Misa was got wet, she luck fortune.

Next, we decided to go Aso, but suddenly one of my friends, Haruka said Aso is bit far. She was driving the car, so we followed her advice. We decided to go a karaoke, so we went to a karaoke near Hikarinomori. We had a good time at there.

Finally, we went to a restaurant. We ate delicious dinner and drinking. We couldn’t drive a car because everyone was drinking, so we decided to return home by our foot. It was nice day for me. I want to spend time with them more.

Now, I'm watching a movie "Koizora." I like Haruma Miura so much. He is cool. He looks kind man and settled person. I want to meet him, and my sister said so, too.


I want to return my high school days.

Stich

This cat’s name is Stich. He lived in New Zealand with an old woman. I met him in NZ when I stayed with a family. He likes go in a bag. How cute he is! My home grand mother likes cats. She has 4 cats in her house. When I entered the house, I was surprised.

I have never have cats or dogs in my house because my father didn’t make my sister and I sad when they died. However, when I was a child, I really want to have a dog. I like animals, but big dogs look scary...

When I was a primary school student, I have childhood friends. One of my childhood friends had a very big dog. He liked to watch someone was afraid of his dog. One day, he let the dog loose, in other words, he untied the dog!!! The dog liked me, so he jumped at me…. It was soooooo scary. I was crying a long time.

Any way, Stich is cute more than the dog, so I liked him very much. He liked my lap. So I was holding Stich on my lap in NZ.
I want to meet Stich again☆

Chicken

Today’s dinner was chicken with an omelet. I like chicken very much. I can’t cook well, but I wanted to eat chicken at then, so I decided to cook. It was easy to cook this because it is only broil and steam. After that, I made sauce.

It was not bad. I want to become a good cooker. I like eating, but cooking is my weak point. I don’t like washing dishes, so I don’t like cooking…

Please teach me how to cook delicious dinner!!!
