Today was first day for us to take a class in NZ. I was looking forward to taking a class. People' pronunciations who live in NZ are different we learned. It is difficult for me to understand but interesting. I want to become to understand these NZ pronunciations.

This morning, I slept late... But, I could go Unitec in time. Mrs. Fay gave me a lift to the Unitec and gave me some snacks. I said to her 'thank you' and 'good by.' After that, we took orientation and English test. I was sleepy at that English test. I couldn't well at that test.

Native English is very fast. I can't understand what they say easily. I was confused... However, the people who live in here are very kind. They teach me English slowly and how to use money. Everything was interesting for me. I decided to learn English with enjoyment.

Dinner was great. I ate big chicken and lots boiled potatoes. Surprisingly, Fay drinks only Coke. Every time she drinks Coke. I wanted to drink water or green tea. I think I'll get weight certainly...

Fri. 02(03)/08/08

It was long time for me to get on a plane. We left KGU at 6:00 am. And we were arrived the Fukuoka Airport at 8:00 am. Then, we got on a plane and it took us the Singapore Airport about 5 hours. When we arrived there, we were little tired. And, we had 6 hours free time. We ate light meal and enjoyed shopping in the Sin. Airport. I was surprised the airport because Sin. Airport was very big and had many shops. Moreover, there were all sorts of people in the world. I was excited and couldn't wait to go NZ.

After the free time, we got on a plane again. We had to sleep in the plane. However, it was exciting trip except to sleep in the plane. I watched some movies and listened music. These were the latest movies. We talked about plane, sky, in-flight meal and NZ. We had expectation of NZ.

Next day, we were arrived Auckland Airport at 10:45(it is NZ time). Immigration formalities were rigidity. Some people was took another room, but it was no problem! After that, we left for Unitec University. We commute to this university during a month. Then, we met our host families. My host mother' name is Fay. She is elderly and kind woman. That's a load off my mind. In Japan, I wrote that I hope a family with a child over 5 years old. All of KGU students who go to NZ wrote like this. However, my host family was only her. No, she and her 3 cats was my family. Surprisingly, there were 3 cats in her house. She really likes cats. Any way, however there was no child, I like her so much!
